Chinese Stir-Fry Sauce

Mix up this sauce and store in the fridge for easy stir-fry. When the craving hits, stir-fry your favorite meat and vegetables with garlic and ginger (and red pepper flakes if you like it hot), and then add this sauce and stir-fry several minutes until sauce thickens. If you don't have Shaoxing wine, buy some on Amazon. A little goes a long way and if you like Chinese cooking, you will want to have this on hand.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce (I like the lower sodium version)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a jar with a 2-cup capacity or more. Shake well and enjoy. This will keep in your fridge for several weeks. Just pour our what you need for your dish.
