Old Fashioned 3 Bean Salad

This cold bean salad was served at all Lenz family potlucks. If you like beans, you will like this. Simple, inexpensive, and something different. This holds well in the fridge for days.

Ingredients

  • 1 can green beans drained
  • 1 can wax beans drained
  • 1 can kidney beans drained

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup onion finely diced
  • 1/2 cup green pepper finely diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Drain and mix all 3 beans together, toss with dressing, and chill.
