Dave’s Beloved Cucumbers
These marinated cucumbers are crispy, sweet, tangy, and a favorite of Dave's! The cucumbers go so fast that I often reuse the marinade. Just add more sliced cucumbers.
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 6 cups cucumbers sliced
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic minced
Marinade
- 1/2 sweet onion thinly sliced
- 1 cup sugar or less
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
Instructions
- Slice cucumbers and place in large bowl. Toss with kosher salt and garlic. Let sit for 1-2 hours.
- Rinse cucumbers well and discard fluid.
- Mix together marinade ingredients and pour over rinsed cucumbers. Enjoy.
