Banana Cream Dessert
This is a easy and delicious layered dessert that always goes over well. You can't go wrong with this. Can be made the day.
Servings: 12
Ingredients
Bottom Crust
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
Second Layer
- 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
- 12 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Third Layer
- 5 bananas
Fourth Layer
- 3 cups milk
- 2 3-ounce packages of vanilla instant pudding
Top Layer
- 12 ounces Cool Whip
Instructions
Bottom Crust
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut the chilled butter into the flour and baking powder with a fork or pastry blender. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and cool.
Second Layer
- Whip cream cheese, Cool Whip, and powdered sugar until smooth and spread over cooled crust.
Third Layer
- Cut the bananas lengthwise and lay over the top of the second layer trying to cover the entire area.
Fourth Layer
- With mixer or whisk blend the milk and pudding mix for 3-5 minutes. Before it sets, pour over the banana layer.
Top Layer
- Spread Cool Whip over the pudding layer. I like to garnish with chocolate curls, nuts or whatever sounds good.
