Turkey Tetrazini

Turkey Tetrazini
This is a tasty dish that is great for using up leftover turkey.
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti cooked and drained (I use 12 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms sliced
- 2 cups turkey cooked and chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
- sprinkle of paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Saute mushrooms in butter and lemon juice. Toss with cooked spaghetti and turkey and place in a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- Melt 3 tablespoons butter and stir in flour and spices. Cook for several minutes on medium low heat. Add broth and cook until sauce bubbles and thickens.
- Pour sauce over pasta mixture and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika to garnish.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and beginning to slightly brown. Enjoy.
