Hot Artichoke Dip

Hot Artichoke Dip

This is wonderful served with tortilla chips – even if you don't love artichokes – you just might like this!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 14 ounce can artichokes in water drained and chopped
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (3 ounces)
  • 1/3 cup green onions with tops thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup red bell pepper chopped
  • additional green onions sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and garlic. Mix well.
  • Drain and chop artichokes. Add artichokes, Parmesan cheese, sliced green onions, lemon zest and black pepper to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
  • Spoon mixture into a casserole dish or another oven-safe dish.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown around edges. Sprinkle with red bell pepper and additional green onions and serve with tortilla chips, veggies, and/or crackers. My favorite is tortilla chips.
